RCL Organized a Religious Merit-Making Activity at Wat Laem Chabang Kao, Chonburi Province

On 19 December 2025, Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited (RCL) organized a religious merit-making activity at Wat Laem Chabang Kao, Chonburi Province, bringing together monks and the local community. The activity aimed to promote good fortune, strengthen morale, support safe and smooth shipping operations, and preserve Thai cultural and religious traditions.
The ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Suporn Amnuaypan, Senior Vice President (Group Head of Human Resources, Administration, Business Process Management, ESG & CSR, Investor Relations, and Communication & Branding), and was attended by members of management, including Captain Somchai Eiampimolrat, Vice President (Ship Management), and Ms. Waraporn Pongpanich, Vice President (Trade & Marketing). Employees, local community members, and students from Wat Laem Chabang School also participated, with total attendance exceeding 100 participants.
As part of the activity, RCL offered meals to the monks and presented donations of daily necessities and Buddhist offerings, including oil lamps, flower garlands, and candle holders, to support religious practices. In addition, food, desserts, and essential goods were distributed to the local community, with students from Wat Laem Chabang School receiving the donations on behalf of their school.
Wat Laem Chabang Kao is an ancient coastal temple of great significance to the local community in Chonburi Province. Since 2024, RCL has supported the construction of the Buddha statue’s base and canopy, reaffirming the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting religious activities and preserving Buddhism for future generations.
