On January 5, 2024, Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited, employees and Ngow Hock Agency employees donated 200,000 baht to Wat Bo Hin in Than To District, Yala. This contribution aims to support the merit-making project for the improvement of kuti buildings and bathrooms for monks. Additionally, the Emerald Buddha was offered in all three seasons.

On 20 December 2023, RCL has pledged our support to environmental sustainability by contributing SGD15,000 to the Garden City Fund, established by the National Parks Board (NParks) of Singapore.

The contribution from RCL aims to support the Garden City Fund’s initiative to restore nature back to our city and redouble the efforts to green Singapore’s urban infrastructure. The cheque was received by NParks representative, Ms. Ng Zhi Yan. The donation is in support of planting 50 young trees in the Singapore landscape.

On November 22, 2023, RCL proudly announced its pivotal support for the Joint Development School Project at Nikhom Sang Ton Eang Khokpho School in the Khokpho district of Pattani Province. RCL’s commitment includes both financial backing and the contribution of 30 pre-owned, well-functioning computers. This initiative is geared towards enhancing digital technology skills and improving learning facilities in alignment with the principles of a sufficiency economy.

RCL actively participated in the transformative endeavour of Thai educational, represented by both Mr Sumate Tanthuwanit, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Mrs Suporn Amnuaypan, Senior Vice President (Group Head of HR, Admin, BT, BPM, IR and Comm & Branding) in collaboration with Mr Wirat Chan-ngam, Director of Nikhom Sang Ton Eang Khokpho School. On 24 September 2023, Khun Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited and employees made a donation (in terms of consumer goods and money 17,000 THB) to Wat Thamma Prasit via Phrakhru Thavornthammaprasit, The Abbot of Wat Thamma Prasit in Klong Khon, Samut Songkram, Thailand.

On September 23, 2023, RCL Public Company Limited participated in an Environmental Conservation. The objective is to maintain balance in an ecosystem by releasing different species of fishes to increase the number of aquatic animals in natural water sources. This ESG activities also includes plants 400 Mangrove trees with the objective to re-establish the shoreline stabilization and buffering that coastal communities rely on.

A sustainable and good environmental conservation includes promoting awareness and encouraging participation in the conservation and preservation of the natural environment.

Representatives from Samut Songkram Regional Harbor Office, from Samutsongkhram Coastal Aquaculture Research and Development Center and Samut Songkram provincial Department of Fisheries join us for the event. While the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources supported 400 Mangrove trees.

We purchased 70,000 Blue crabs from Samutsongkhram Coastal Aquaculture Research and Development Center. The 1,000,000 baby Tiger prawn bred and 40,000 sea bass fish were released in the Ocean at Klong Khon, Samut Songkram Province

On the occasion of His Majesty the King's birthday on July 25, 2023, employees and executives of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited in Cambodia donated foods and essential items to Cambodia Community Children's Home (CCCH) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Khun Sumate Tanthuwanit, Chairman of Executive Committee of RCL donated Ambulance Van, and Medical Equipment totaling 2,675,000 THB via Dr. Pornthep Siriwanarangson, Chairman of Emergency Medical Foundation of Thailand together with his team for purpose of distribution to co-network partners with Pitakkarn Foundation to help and support the emergency rescue the residents and visitors in Kanchanaburi province at Pitakkarn Foundation on 14 July 2023.

RCL has pledged a donation of SGD5,000 for ‘The 5th Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium’ which is held at the National University of Singapore from 19 to 23 June 2023.

With the theme ‘Coral reef science and management in a rapidly changing world’, the 5th APCRS is a forum for reef scientists and managers to present, discuss and integrate the science and conservation of Asia-Pacific coral reef ecosystems.
Coral reefs here are threatened by a variety of stressors, including coastal modification and rapid climate change, giving rise not only to ecological implications but also to socio-economic impacts.

To draw attention to these threats and to work together towards practical solutions, the Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium was organised to provide a platform for scientists, educators, managers, environmentalists, and other stakeholders in the region to share their knowledge and expertise on the fields of coral reef biology, ecology, management and conservation, with the intention of forging greater cooperation and effective programmes for collaboration to preserve our common marine natural heritage.

Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited held its 44th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2023 on April 21st, 2023 at 10.30 a.m. in the form of Hybrid Meeting at Panjathani Conference Center. There were over 100 shareholders and proxy holders joint the Meeting via Physical and E-Meeting to acknowledge the Company's operational results for the year 2022 and exchange useful information for the Company's future growth.

On April 2, 2023, Khun Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited, and employees participated in merit- making activity contributed Bath 128,995 with donation of 3 cows and 2 buffaloes. The donation was made to help save the lives of cattle in collaboration with Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan. This initiative supports impoverished farmers by providing them with cows and buffaloes for labor, increasing their agricultural productivity and providing them with an additional source of income. Additionally, this effort helps to save the lives of cows and buffaloes by allowing them to reproduce and avoid extinction. We are proud to have participated in this meaningful activity, which aligns with our company's values and commitment to corporate social responsibility.

On 17 February 2023, Khun Sumate Tanthuwanit, Chairman of the Executive Committee, graciously contributed Baht 5,000,000 to “A project for the Ramathibodi Hospital Building and Yothi Medical Innovation District”. The new building is aimed to enhance efficiency of medical services especially treatments for complicated sickness in response to unforeseen circumstances that take place as a result of diseases of today and tomorrow. The efficiency and capacity of the new building will give more room for people in general to access standard medical services. This event took place at a ceremony to celebrate the 29th Anniversary and moving toward the 30th Anniversary of EXIM Thailand’s business operation at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office.

Mr. Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of RCL Public Company Limited, was the chairman of the ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening ceremony of the new office of the affiliated company RCLS Co., Ltd. on January 14, 2023 by Ms.Suporn Amnuaypan, Ms.Waraporn Pongpanich, Mr.Rachai Denpaiboon, Ms. Jutharat Chantarasamutr, Ms. Jitanong Tulaphorn, executives and employees participated in the event.

The new office of RCLS is located on the 16th floor of the Panjathani Building. A total area is 1040 square meters with a happy workplace designed.

On 28 December 2022, Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited (RCL) contributed Baht 1,500,000 and RCL Logistics Co.,Ltd. contributed Baht 1,500,000 to the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society for construction of Regional Blood Centre in Nakhon Si Thammarat province to develop the blood service work to progress and meet international standards, turnkey operation, maximum security and sufficient to treat patients across the country.

Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited (RCL) donated Baht 5,000,000 to Bhadra Maharajanusorn Foundation under the Royal Patronage Foundation on December 27, 2022, in order to support funds for the purchase of two ambulances.

On 14 February 2023, RCL employees donated disposable PET plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan to be recycled and used to make monk robes. It also benefits the environment by reducing waste, and the products can gain profits for the community.

30 January 2023, RCL Logistics Co.,Ltd. contributed Baht 50,000 to the Deutscher Hilfsverein Thailand e.V. to takes care of people, mainly German nationals, who are in need in Thailand through no fault of their own and to provide psychological support and legal advice to third parties on request.

This CSR activity also includes the collection of garbage along the coast and building a fish house from rope to allow small aquatic species to have a habitat.

Representatives from Chonburi Regional Harbor Office, Marine and Coastal Resources Administration Office 2 Chonburi, Chonburi Provincial Fisheries Office joined us for the event. While the Merchant Marine Training Centre for Environmental Conservation supported the participants with life jackets.

We purchased 800,000 baby Banana prawn bred from the Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Center in Chachoengsao Province. The baby Banana prawn together with 15,000 fishes and 300 crab breeders were released in the ocean at Ao Udom, Chonburi Province.

On 1 November 2022, Khun Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited attended a donation handover ceremony. RCL supports the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in its effort to mitigate the current economic crisis by providing free shipping of donated items to Sri Lanka. RCL transported four rounds totaling 146 tons between August and October.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. The donations were received by Mrs. Colonne Appuhamillage Chaminda Inoka Colonne, Sri Lanka Ambassador to Thailand.

In September 2022, RCL Shanghai organized a book donation as part of our CSR initiative in China. The beneficiary are students from Ningxia Xiji Senior High School which is located in the inland area of Northwest China.
The company donated over five hundred books catering to the scarcity of education resources for the students studying there.

In the month of May, RCL Feeder Pte Ltd, Singapore had organized a food donation drive to support a charity organization – Food from the Heart. Food from the Heart is a non-profit organization that are committed to provide continued food security to their beneficiaries who are largely the less privileged individuals and families in Singapore.
