RCL revamps Cambodia and Songkhla Service
29 Aug 2018

RCL is pleased to announce that the separation of its RSZ service (currently Singapore – Sihanoukville – Songkhla – Singapore with the Nanta Bhum) into two separate weekly loops with rotation and branding as:

a. RCX – Singapore (Tue/Wed) – Sihanoukville (Fri/Sun) – Singapore

b. RSE – Singapore (Tue/Wed) – Songkhla (Sat/Mon) – Singapore

RCL will deploy the Bani Bhum (993 TEU) in the RCX service, while the Nanta Bhum (1036 TEU) will be employed on the RSE service. The maiden voyages will commence on the 3 October 2018 ex Singapore.

By operating 2 separate strings, RCL will be able to provide higher capacity as required by our Main Line Operators (MLO) and Carrier owned containers (COC) particularly ex Sihanoukville and Songkhla to Singapore. The more relaxed schedule will also ensure on time arrival in Singapore for cargoes connecting in/out of Singapore to/from Sihanoukville and Songkhla.
